09/02/2010:  The JV volleyball team lost tonight in 3 games. 29-27, 21-25, 9-15.  Julia Hutchens had 12 points, Beth Williams 6points and 2 kills and Samantha Smith 5 points and 8 assists.  They are now 2-2 overall.  The varsity volleyball team lost tonight in 3 games.16-25, 8-25, 24-26.  Hannah Smith had 6 points and 2 aces.  Hannah Helbert had 6 kills, 10 digs and 2 blocks.  Kalayna Cassady had 6 kills, 9 digs.  Ginna Williams had 13 assists and 3 blocks.  They are now 2-2 overall.  The next game is Thursday 9-2 at home against Carroll County. 

08/31/2010-Volleball:  JV volleyball had 3 games last week.  Westover Christian on Monday-  Won in 2 matches 26-24 and 25-17. Katherine Massey had 7 service points and 3 kills.  Samantha Smith had 8 service points and 8 assists.  Carroll County on Tuesday- Won in 2 matches 25-16, 25-23.  Samantha Smith 8 service points and 8 assists.  Ashely Lyon and Katherine Massey 7 service points.  Chatham on Thursday- Lost in 3.  18-25, 25-12, 12-15; Tuesday Gates 6 service points and Julia Hutchens 6 service points.  They are 2-1 overall.  The varsity volleyball team had 3 games as well.  Westover-won in 5 games. 14-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-25, 15-12.Hannah  Smith had 10 kills, Hannah Helbert 11 kills and Ginna Williams 28 assists.  Lost to Carroll in 3 games 21-25, 14-25, 17-25.Hannah Helbert had 7 kills and Ginna Williams had 16 assists.  Won against Chatham in 3 games.  25-14, 25-12, 25-18.  Ginna Williams 17 points, 4 aces and 21 assits.Hannah Helbert 7 points 12 kills.Kalayna Cassady had 6 kills.  They are now 2-1 overall.
